It's a Hat...No It's A Headband...No It's A Fascinator!

We get asked just about everyday what the name is of those silly little poofs of fun that sit up on top of your head.  They are called "Fascinators".  Think of it this way...something that "fastens" on to your hair via a clip or headband.  Sometimes it even incorporates a base to resemble a miniature hat, in which case it may be called a "Hatinator". They are a great lightweight alternative to a hat!  One thing is for sure...when you are wearing a fascinator, you will definitely have more fun!

Fall Is Here! You are going to "Fall in Love" with All our New Arrivals!

Our racks are busting at the seams with really great new pieces arriving daily. At least 2 boxes a day and we can hardly keep up - we are exhausted! In fact we have had to buy new hangers twice! That's over 200 hangers!  We are stocking up for season and have all the hippest new things from the runways like fringe, lounging pants, lace galore, and short hi-lo dresses just perfect for your cowboy boots and yes we even have a few cowboy hats left! From Frilly Five Year Old to High School Freshman!

So today I woke up extra early to make sure my baby, who is now a FRESHMAN IN HIGH SCHOOL, got to the bus at 6:30am for her first day school.  I highlight that because I really can not believe it! Just yesterday it seems like I was dressing her in her little ruffles for her 1st day of kindergarden!  I am so proud of her and the young lady she has become.  She's too big for the cute little lace and ruffle outfits we now sell in The Secret Garden but we have lots of adorable fashions for the little princesses in your life in sizes 3 months to 8.  Just in time for those school pictures coming up soon.  Here Savannah is pictured on the 1st day of kindergarden and 1st day of high school!

My First Official Blog - Yikes!

OK so here goes...my first blog.  Honestly I have been a little intimidated by all this new social media stuff but I know it is now time to conquer my fears and just GO FOR IT!  I have so much to say, its hard to figure out just what to write!  Well for starters, lots of exciting stuff has been happening over the last several months....we now have a brand new logo, we've launched our online store, we got a new POS computer system in the store to help us track customer purchases better, we had a major facelift to our interior lighting with gorgeous chandeliers, we now have a Google Places Virtual Tour on Google maps, and not to mention we are continuously stocking our racks with interesting, feminine new looks for you to stay looking your best over the holidays...more photos and blogs on this to come!
